Where to play
In general the matches have to be played at GridGammon. Participants without an account at GridGammon may ask for registration with GridGammon at support@gridgammon.com making reference to the participation in this WBIF tournament.

Format
The tournament will be played in triple-K.o.-mode: Each participant plays until he has either lost 3 times and is therefore eliminated or otherwise he has won the tournament with fewer losses. The following rankings are based solely on the number of rounds the participant stood in the tournament. There is no tie-breaker rating. The calculated PR has no influence on the result of the tournament.

The pairings of rounds 1 to 3 are randomly drawn and played simultaneously. After round 3 the pairings will be drawn round after round according to the swiss system with the tournament software by Hans-Jürgen Werner. All matches are played to 11 points. In addition to the announcement please notice the tournament rules for WBIF Germany.

Schedule
The tournament will start at 15.09.2014. The simultaneous rounds 1-3 should be played within up to 4 weeks, each match of the subsequent rounds should be played within up to 3 weeks. The duration of the tournament will depend on the number of participants.
